PICNIC on Saturday, May 9, 2015

We will hold our PICNIC fundraiser event on Saturday, May 9th at the Gateway Pavilion, Vasona Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd, Los Gatos, starting at noon.

We will serve Serbian-style barbecue, appetizers, salads and deserts. If you would like to contribute to the event with food or refreshment donations, please contact us at etfbafa@gmail.com

Event fees: Adults - $25 (18 years+), Students - $10, Kids - free. All food and drinks are included in the event fee. All income from the piknik will go to the ETF students grant fund.

We have collected $15,015 which is 50% above our original goal of $10K, and just above our stretch goal of $15K.

Last Day: Donation Campaign for Flood Relief in Serbia

Dear members and friends of ETF Belgrade Alumni and Friends Association,

Our association is collecting donations for flood victims in Serbia. Today is the last day of our donation campaign. 

During the last week, we have collected $9,315, very close to our original goal of $10,000. Collected funds will be transferred via Novak Djokovic foundation to the schools and day care centers in Serbia that need our help now.

All donations are tax deductible. ETF Belgrade Alumni and Friends Association is a California Public Benefit Corporation (Federal EIN: 68–0474883; California Entity ID: 2339854), which is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of the Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Please donate whatever you can and do ask your friends to donate, people effected with this by largest floods ever recorded need our help now.

Поплаве у Србији

Поштоване колегинице и колеге,

Ви сте сви обавештени о трагичним поплавама у Србији и Републици Српској. Цели градови и села су под водом. Доста људи је, на жалост, изгубило животе, а многи су остали без икакве имовине. Народ, војска и полиција су мобилисани, подижу се насипи и бране, спашавају поплављене породице, од којих су многи тражили спас на крововима кућа. Деца су, као и увек, најугроженија. Укратко, Србији је потребна помоћ. Ми све треба да помогнемо колико год можемо.

Добар пример су нам дали наши спортисти. Новак Ђоковић је критиковао светске медије што су игнорисали катастрофалну ситуацију у Србији, и позвао их да извештавају на адекватнији начин. Он је такође поклонио за помоћ поплављенима целу своју награду са такмичења у Риму (500 хиљада евра), а придружили су му се и Ана Ивановић, Ненад Зимоњић и остали спортисти. Такође је и Кристијано Роналдо, један од најбољих фудбалера света, дао велику донацију!

Наша организација ЕТФ–BAFA се придружује овој акцији за помоћ, и прикупљаће ваше прилоге недељу дана, до среде 28. маја. Прилоге можете да пошаљете на следеће начине:

You are invited to the ETF BAFA Annual Meeting which will be held in at St. Michael Church in Saratoga on December 14th, 2013, starting at 6:00 pm, with the following agenda:

2. Financial Report
3. Student Scholarship and Awards
4. Plan for 2014
5. Q&A

Dinner will be served before the meeting. For members who contribute to the dinner with food donation, entrance is free, for additional guests and members who are not in a position to contribute with food donation recommended donation is $20.

Поштоване колегинице и колеге,

Годишња скупштина наше организације ETF BAFA USA ће се одржати у суботу, 14. децембра 2013. године, у 6 сати после подне у Саратоги у великој сали наше Цркве Св. Арханђела Михаила.

Пре почетка службеног дела ће бити послужена вечера, домаћи специјалитети, разне пите, торте и колачи. Пошто немамо могућност да користимо кухињу, молимо вас да понесете разна јела и слаткише за вечеру. У вашем одговору на овај позив, наведите шта планирате да донесете од хране или пића (имајте у виду да је пост). За оне који не могу да донесу нешто од хране и пића, улазница је $20 по особи.

Службени део скупштине почиње у седам сати увече, са следећим дневним редом:
